Hotel and Travel

Let's go "funky-formal" to match the vibe of the museum: we encourage guests to wear bright colors, funky patterns, and fun textures. Come prepared to party in festive frills, sequins, pleats, feathers, and whatever else makes you feel good (though if this is not your vibe, that's okay too! Traditional formal attire is always great.).For more information on a "funky-formal" dress code, this article by Kailey Sigoda for L'Officiel provides a great overview: https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/what-is-black-tie-funky-new-wedding-dress-code-what-to-wear-feathers-bags-beading-dresses-maximalism-patternsPlease note that as the article linked above explains, while the "formal" aspect of the dress code remains (e.g., floor-length hems, structured silhouettes, dressy shoes), "...just about everything else gets funky in true celebration of the happy couple. This gives guests the green light on creativity, letting them replace solid tones with color and pattern or swap classy bags for something with texture, be it feathers, sequins, mesh, or other unexpected accessories."Happy dressing!
